In the Introduction to SQL course on Udacity, you will learn the fundamentals of SQL and how to effectively use core SQL commands to define, select, manipulate, control access, aggregate, and join data and data tables. You will also gain an understanding of advanced topics such as subqueries, window functions, and partitions to tackle complex tasks. Additionally, you will learn how to clean data, optimize SQL queries, and write advanced JOINs to improve analysis performance. By the end of the course, you will be able to determine when to use specific SQL commands and apply query results to solve real-world business problems. In the Deforestation Exploration section, you will explore the management of relational and non-relational databases, focusing on building normalized and performant relational data models. You will also learn about the tradeoffs between relational and non-relational databases and gain an understanding of when to use each type in different scenarios. Finally, in the Udiddit, A Social News Aggregator section, you will apply your SQL skills to a practical project, where you will create a social news aggregator using SQL commands and techniques.
