The SQL for Data Analysis course on Udacity teaches you the basics of SQL, including commands like SELECT, FROM, WHERE, and logical operators. You will also learn how to combine data tables using SQL joins to answer more complex business questions. The course covers aggregating data using functions like COUNT, SUM, MIN, and MAX, as well as working with NULL values and writing CASE and DATE functions. Optional advanced lessons cover subqueries, window functions, data cleaning, query optimization, and advanced JOINs. The course project involves querying a Digital Music Store Database and using statistical techniques to analyze the data and make recommendations.
