In the course Deploying a Hadoop Cluster on Amazon EC2 offered by Udacity, participants will learn the process of deploying a small Hadoop cluster on Amazon EC2 instances. The course covers the usage of Apache Ambari to automatically deploy a larger and more powerful Hadoop cluster. Additionally, participants will gain knowledge on deploying on-demand Hadoop clusters using Amazon's ElasticMapReduce. The course also includes a lesson on analyzing a large dataset of 150 GB Wikipedia page views using Hadoop and MapReduce.
