Long Description

In the Web Accessibility course on Udacity, you will learn why accessibility is important and who it impacts. You will also get an introduction to the web accessibility guidelines and learn about the POUR principles for accessibility. The course will teach you how to make your web pages usable for keyboard navigation and how to manage focus in various elements. You will also learn about semantics and how to make your pages work for people who cannot use a standard user interface. The course will cover topics such as using screen readers, understanding the accessibility tree, and adding markup to improve accessibility. Additionally, you will learn about ARIA and how to build custom controls and interactions that are accessible. The course will also cover styling for accessibility, including highlighting focus, indicating ARIA states, and supporting limited color or contrast vision. Finally, you will learn how to audit your page using the Chrome Accessibility Tools and fix any styling issues that arise.
