In the course Introduction to Python on Udacity, you will learn and understand the importance of programming with Python. You will start by learning about Python's data types and operators, including integers, floats, booleans, strings, lists, tuples, sets, dictionaries, and compound data structures. You will also learn how to perform computations and create logical statements using Python's operators. Additionally, you will learn about control flow and how to write conditional expressions using if statements and boolean expressions. You will also learn about for and while loops, as well as useful built-in functions for iterating over and manipulating lists, sets, and dictionaries. The course will also cover functions, including how to define your own custom functions, create and reference variables, and add documentation. You will also learn about scripting, including how to install Python 3, set up your programming environment, and run and edit Python scripts. The course will also cover error handling, file manipulation, and using modules from the Python Standard Library and third-party libraries. Additionally, you will learn about NumPy and Pandas, including how to create, access, modify, and sort multidimensional arrays, perform operations on arrays, and work with NaN values. Finally, you will complete a course project where you will use Python to analyze bikeshare trip data from three US cities and present your findings in an interactive terminal experience.
