In the course Intro to Inferential Statistics on Udacity, you will learn various techniques to estimate population parameters using confidence intervals, as well as how to estimate the effect of a treatment. You will also gain knowledge on hypothesis testing to determine if a treatment has changed the value of a population parameter. The course covers t-tests to test the effect of a treatment and compare the difference in means for two groups with small sample sizes. Additionally, you will learn about ANOVA to test for differences between three or more groups, correlation to describe and test the strength of a relationship between two variables, regression to understand the relationship between changes in variables, and chi-squared tests to compare and test frequencies for categorical data.
