Short Description

The Time Series Forecasting course provides students with the foundational knowledge to build and apply time series forecasting models in a variety of business contexts.

Long Description

In the Time Series Forecasting course on Udacity, you will learn the fundamentals of time series data and what attributes make it unique. You will be introduced to a variety of simple forecasting methods and gain an understanding of seasonality, trends, and cyclical patterns. The course will also cover ETS models, teaching you how to build and use them, as well as how to visualize time series data using decomposition plots. You will have the opportunity to practice building an ETS model in Alteryx. Additionally, the course will cover ARIMA models, teaching you how to build and use them for both seasonal and non-seasonal data. You will also learn techniques for analyzing and interpreting time series model results, as well as how to compare forecasting models using holdout samples. Finally, you will learn how to visualize your forecasts through various plots.
