  • Explanation of the principles of microcomputers and microcomputer hardware.
  • Implementation of computer network management aspects and network security techniques.
  • Application of basic commands of an operating system, word processing program, spreadsheet program, internet and presentation program, and computer-assisted software.
  • Demonstration of application and management of software engineering projects.

Associated Assessment Criteria for Exit Level Outcome 2:

  • Explanation of basic principles of object-oriented programming such as classes, objects, properties, and methods.
  • Solving problems in an object-oriented, high-level programming environment.
  • Description of basic control structures to solve software-related problems.
