Purpose and Rationale

Assessment Criteria for Statistical Research Course

Learning Outcomes:

  • Critical Thinking: Students should be able to analyze arguments and identify erroneous thinking in statistical research.
  • Data Interpretation: Students must interpret empirical data effectively.
  • Application of Statistical Research Skills: Students should apply statistical research skills to economic and social behavior.
  • Identification and Analysis of Economic Phenomena: Students must identify and analyze statistical economic phenomena and trends.

Integrated Assessment:

  • Evaluation Methods: Assessment will include assignments, tests, and examinations in written and oral formats.
  • Continuous Evaluation: Includes essays, oral presentations, tests, and practical work.
  • Research Report: The final report will focus on applying statistical research to an economic topic.

Requirements for Students:

  • Minimum Grade: Students must achieve a minimum of 50% in all modules, with a possibility of 45% in a maximum of 2 elective modules.
