Purpose and Rationale

Qualification Objectives:

  1. Control of Management Information:

    • Teach learners how to control the flow of management information.
    • Relate financial forecasts to actual results achieved.
    • Monitor sales and profit trends.
    • Provide advice on alternative actions that can be taken.
  2. Advanced Information Systems Management:

    • Teach learners at an advanced level how to design and manage information systems, including technology.
  3. Advising Clients on Various Matters:

    • Equip learners with relevant knowledge to advise clients on a wide variety of crucial matters, from computer systems to personnel, and from corporate strategies to marketing and investments.
  4. Preparation for Further Education and Professional Advancement:

    • Prepare learners for advancement to Masters and other Cost and Management Accounting Profession programmes.
