The purpose of the graduate program is twofold:
Integrated Assessment: To ensure the achievement of the stated outcomes, a variety of assessment strategies will be implemented. These strategies include:
Workplace-based assignments: Students will be required to complete tasks that simulate real-world scenarios, allowing them to apply theoretical knowledge to practical situations within a workplace setting.
Individual and group projects: Students will work both independently and collaboratively on projects that require critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication skills. This will help them develop their ability to work in diverse teams and manage project timelines.
Mini-research reports: Students will be tasked with conducting concise research on specific topics related to the course content. This will enhance their research skills, information literacy, and ability to synthesize and analyze data.
Written and oral examinations: Students will be evaluated through written assessments, such as essays, reports, and exams, to demonstrate their understanding of key concepts and theories. Additionally, oral examinations may be conducted to assess their ability to articulate and defend their ideas verbally.
By utilizing a combination of these assessment methods, students will be able to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the course material and its practical applications. This integrated approach to assessment aims to foster holistic learning and ensure that students are well-prepared for success in their academic and professional endeavors.
