The goal of this programme is to provide graduates with a specialised knowledge in a particular science discipline through in-depth study. The programme aims to equip students with knowledge of research methodology, problem-solving skills, and the ability to develop theory through independent work and critical thinking. This will be achieved through the use of appropriate theory, methods, and techniques from various areas of mathematics.
Upon completion of the programme, graduates will be able to effectively communicate complex mathematical concepts to both expert and non-expert audiences. They will possess a specialized knowledge in the mathematical sciences, enabling them to contribute to the community in various capacities within the public and private sectors. Graduates will be equipped to apply their skills and knowledge to serve the community in important ways, utilizing their expertise in mathematics.
