In the research projects, the learner will be expected to demonstrate an overall understanding of the programme and the capability to integrate the materials learned in the programme. The learner will be assessed using various methods including:
Seminars: The learner must present their projects to an external assessor, showcasing their understanding and ability to integrate the materials learned in the programme.
Written Project Report: A comprehensive report detailing the research project, findings, and the integration of the program materials.
Artefact Quality: The quality of the artefact produced, typically an IT application, will be evaluated to assess the learner's practical application of the knowledge gained.
Tests: Regular tests throughout the year will assess the learner's understanding of the theoretical concepts taught in the program.
Weekly Theoretical and Practical Assignments: Assignments will be given to ensure continuous engagement with the course material and practical application of concepts.
Semester Projects: Larger projects completed at the end of each semester will test the learner's ability to integrate and apply the knowledge gained over the term.
Seminar and Verbal Presentations: Presentations will be a key component of the assessment, allowing the learner to demonstrate their communication skills and depth of understanding.
Formal Examinations: End-of-year examinations will test the learner's overall grasp of the program materials and their ability to integrate and apply them in a structured setting.
By employing a variety of assessment methods, the program ensures that learners not only understand the material but can effectively integrate and apply it in real-world scenarios, preparing them for success in their future careers.
