Human and Social Studies - General Social Science
Objectives:
Enhance graduates' understanding of social theory and its application in social processes and organization.
Develop graduate students' research skills in order to conduct meaningful and relevant social research.

Facilitate the development of critical thinking skills to analyze and evaluate social theories and research findings.

Assignments: Assignments will be designed to assess learners' understanding of the theoretical concepts and their ability to apply them in practical situations. These assignments may require learners to analyze case studies, solve problems, or complete projects that integrate multiple learning outcomes.
Tutorials: Tutorials will provide learners with the opportunity to engage in discussions, ask questions, and receive feedback on their understanding of the course material. Tutorials may involve group activities or discussions that require learners to collaborate and integrate their knowledge to solve problems or address issues.
Oral Presentations: Oral presentations will allow learners to demonstrate their communication skills and their ability to present information in a clear and concise manner. Presentations may require learners to synthesize information from different learning outcomes and present their findings or recommendations to their peers or instructors.
Examinations: Examinations will test learners' knowledge and understanding of the course material across all learning outcomes. These assessments may include multiple-choice questions, short-answer questions, essays, or case studies that require learners to demonstrate their ability to integrate their knowledge and apply it to different scenarios.
