This qualification aims to achieve proficiency in both scholarship and professional training at all undergraduate levels within the general field of the social sciences. The aim is to produce graduates who are equipped with generic skills and have acquired substantial knowledge in a range of disciplines. This will enable them not only to have an enhanced understanding of their society and the world but also prepare them to embark on a career and create opportunities for themselves.
In a business seminar focused on sustainability, I can demonstrate critical thinking by analyzing case studies of companies implementing eco-friendly practices and making connections to their financial performance. Through exercises on research methods, I can explore how consumer behavior is influenced by corporate social responsibility policies.
During a policy design workshop, I can apply critical thinking to create innovative strategies for reducing carbon emissions in a business setting, drawing connections to governmental regulations and market trends.
