Communication Studies and Language - Language
The primary purpose of this qualification is to develop the learner's applied competence in more advanced conceptualisation, critical reasoning, problem solving and processes of analysis and evaluation pertaining to the structure, usage and spread of the Afrikaans language, in historical context, and Afrikaans literature in its major genres. It also focuses on understanding Dutch literature by way of comparison to Afrikaans.
