Agriculture and Nature Conservation - Nature Conservation
The Nature Conservation program aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the core principles of nature conservation and its interconnectedness with various disciplines such as ecology, agriculture, policy, management, and economics. This interdisciplinary approach equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary to pursue advanced studies in the field of nature conservation and to actively engage in sustainable environmental management practices in both private and public sectors.
Basic Understanding: To provide students with a foundational understanding of nature conservation and its diverse relationships with other disciplines.
Advanced Studies: To prepare students for advanced studies in nature conservation through the acquisition of in-depth knowledge and essential skills.
Employability: To uniquely position students for employment opportunities in sustainable environmental management by equipping them with specialized knowledge in nature conservation.
Comprehensive Knowledge: To ensure that students are well-versed in a wide array of issues related to nature conservation including ecology, biodiversity conservation, biometry, natural resource economics, and policy.
By the end of the program, students will have the necessary tools to contribute effectively to the field of nature conservation and address pressing environmental challenges using a holistic and interdisciplinary approach.
