Steps to Create a Markdown Table:
Open your Markdown editor: Start by opening your preferred Markdown editor or platform where you will be creating the table.
Determine the number of columns you need: Decide on the number of columns your table will have and the content you want to include in each column.
Start with the header row: Begin by creating the header row of your table. Use the pipe symbol (|) to separate each column and hyphens (-) to create the separator line below the header row.
Example:
| Column 1 Header | Column 2 Header | Column 3 Header |
|-----------------|-----------------|-----------------|
Example:
| Row 1, Column 1 | Row 1, Column 2 | Row 1, Column 3 |
|-----------------|-----------------|-----------------|
| Row 2, Column 1 | Row 2, Column 2 | Row 2, Column 3 |
Example with left-aligned content:
| Left-aligned | Center-aligned | Right-aligned |
|:-------------|:---------------:|--------------:|
| Left | Center | Right |
Review and finalize: Check your table for any errors or formatting issues, and make any necessary adjustments before finalizing it.
Save or paste the table: Once you are satisfied with your Markdown table, save your file or paste the table into your Markdown document.
