The University of Natal is transitioning its assessment strategies to include the assessment of applied competence for each qualification. Currently, a combination of continuous assessment and traditional written examinations is used to assess the integration of learning outcomes for each module. All fourth-year students are required to complete a project and seminars, which serve as integrated assessments of their learning outcomes.
