Purpose and Rationale

Program Objectives

Assessment Criteria

Formative and summative assessment methods are used in the format of written or oral tests and exams, supervision of practical work, presentation of case studies, simulations, assignments, and practical assessment of applicable skills. A multi-dimensional approach is followed in the assessment of learners, including:

  • Knowledge: Assessing theoretical and practical knowledge.
  • Abilities: Evaluating the ability to apply theoretical and practical knowledge.
  • Thinking processes: Assessing the integration of theory and practice.
  • Metacognition: Identifying causal relationships between information and practice.
  • Affect: Predicting trends in the micro organizational environment and understanding, maintaining, and adapting systems, processes, and behavior of groups and individuals.

Integrated assessment methods include portfolios, simulations, and written examinations.
