The qualification aims to:
Secure Employment and Enhance Career Opportunities: Supplement undergraduate qualifications with broad exposure to management principles at the postgraduate level, aiding in securing employment and advancing career opportunities. This is especially beneficial for women graduates seeking to transition into fields historically dominated by men.
Promotion into Managerial Positions: Enhance opportunities for promotion into managerial roles by completing the programme on a full- or part-time basis. This is particularly valuable for black women who may be overlooked for career advancement without formal management qualifications.
Provide Access to Experienced Managers: Offer experienced managers without formal university qualifications the chance to complete graduate-level studies, provided they have ten years of work experience with some at a managerial or supervisory level.
