Purpose and Rationale

Qualification Aim:

The aim of this qualification is to provide learners with the opportunity to broaden their knowledge in Political Studies within the Faculty of Arts. This program offers extensive reading opportunities, familiarizes students with classic texts in Political Studies, encourages engagement in conversations with key thinkers in the field, and enables active participation in debates with confidence. Through this comprehensive foundation, learners will be better prepared for postgraduate research. This program not only allows for broadening of knowledge but also facilitates deeper insights into the discipline as outlined.

Outcomes

  1. Express Political Studies abstract thoughts in a clear, logical and coherent manner in writing. 4.Reflect the results of an independent Political Studies literature survey on a selected topic in a balanced and coherent way. 5.Demonstrate skills to engage in Postgraduate Political Studies research.
