Qualification Aim

The aim of this qualification is to provide an opportunity for learners to broaden their knowledge in Philosophy within the Faculty of Arts. This program allows learners to:

Preparation for Postgraduate Research

The solid foundation acquired through this qualification prepares learners for postgraduate research. It not only broadens but also deepens insight in the discipline as specified. This qualification aims to empower learners with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in further academic pursuits within the field of Philosophy.

Outcomes

  1. Demonstrate a broad and integrated knowledge of the current scholarly discourse in Philosophy.
  2. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding through the reading and interpretation of classic and contemporary Philosophy texts.
