Purpose and Rationale

The aim of this qualification is to provide an opportunity for learners to broaden their knowledge in Industrial Psychology within the Faculty of Arts. It offers a chance to read extensively, to engage with classic texts in the Industrial Psychology discipline, to interact with key thinkers, and to participate in debates with confidence. The foundational knowledge acquired through this program prepares students for postgraduate research, allowing them to not only broaden but also deepen their understanding of the discipline.

Outcomes

  1. Demonstrate a broad and integrated knowledge of the current scholarly discourse in Industrial Psychology.
  2. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding through the reading and interpretation of classic and contemporary Industrial Psychology texts.
  3. Express Industrial Psychology abstract thoughts in a clear, logical and coherent manner in writing.
  4. Reflect the results of an independent Industrial Psychology literature survey on a selected topic in a balanced and coherent way.
