Purpose and Rationale

Purpose of the Qualification:

Assessment Criteria

The assessment methods used for the qualification ensure that the purpose of the qualification is achieved. These methods include a research report/essay and written and/or oral examinations to assess the standard and level of achievement for NQF level 7. Integrated assessment is conducted through class discussions, assignments, tutorials, portfolios, simulations, workplace assessments, practical sessions, case studies, presentations, written examinations, oral examinations, and research reports/essays. The research report/essay presents the candidate's research findings.
