Purpose and Rationale

Learners:
- Will use specialized principles in the analysis and interpretation of Botanical problems

- Will be able to identify the appropriate techniques in solving basic and specialized Botanical problems
- Will be able to execute basic experiments and undertake surveys and collections to a level appropriate to the degree
- Will be able to interpret their results in terms of background information
- Will be able to present reports of their investigations
Integrated Assessment:
The learner will be required to demonstrate applied competence using a range of formative and summative assessment methods including assignments, seminars, practical reports, and examinations. Research planning, research procedures, and the research report will be very important.
