Purpose and Rationale

The aim of the programme is to train students in managerial skills for employment in industrial organisations, Public Service, and teaching service.

Integrated Assessment Methods

Methods of assessment in this course include:

  • Term Papers: Students are required to submit term papers on specific topics related to the course material. These papers are usually research-based and require critical analysis.

  • Research Project: Students will be assigned a research project to work on throughout the course. This project will involve conducting research, collecting data, and presenting findings in a formal report.

  • Oral Presentation: Students will be required to give an oral presentation on a topic related to the course material. This will help students improve their presentation and communication skills.

  • Three Hour Writing Examination: In addition to the above assessments, students will also have to take a three-hour writing examination in four of the courses. This exam will test their understanding of the course material and their ability to articulate their thoughts effectively in writing.

These assessment methods are designed to provide a comprehensive evaluation of the students' knowledge, skills, and understanding of the course material.
