Purpose and Rationale

Objectives of Administration Training

  1. Introduction to Administrative Activities
    The training aims to familiarize candidates with the various activities that fall under administration.

  2. Skill Development
    The primary goal is to equip candidates with the necessary skills to effectively perform their administrative duties.

  3. Interpretation of Government Policies
    Candidates will be trained to interpret governmental policies to ensure their efficient implementation by public officials.

  4. Ethical Skills Development
    Ethical skills will be instilled in candidates to ensure effective and ethical service delivery.

  5. Building Future Public Managers
    The training aims to prepare candidates to become competent public managers in the future by providing them with the necessary knowledge and skills.

Outcomes

  1. Ability to perform administrative functions effectively.
  2. Ability to manage resources (especially Human) effectively. Specify critical cross-field outcomes:

Assessment Criteria

  1. Qualification is awarded on successful completion of all prescribed modules up to year 3. Integrated assessment incorporated to ensure that the purpose of the degree is achieved:

    • Oral examinations
    • Other: Group Projects, Assignments/Test.
