Written examinations are assessed internally by the course lecturer and thereafter externally moderated. Formative feedback is given when the project supervisor provides written feedback on pre-submission drafts of the project. Staff and learners provide additional formative assessment during student presentations. Summative assessment is conducted after completion of the project. The candidate will submit a written report on the project. The supervisor, followed by an independent external moderation process, will assess this project internally. A final assessment mark is given after completion and submission of the research project.
