Purpose and Rationale

Purpose:

A large part of the growth in the automotive market is attributed to the Human Resources departments of companies, as they play a crucial role in hiring individuals with the necessary knowledge to introduce new technologies into the company. In order to thrive in the automotive industry, companies require a workforce that is highly skilled, flexible, and dedicated, along with innovative and adaptable management. Additionally, the ability to retain and develop talent, as well as fostering a strong partnership between management and labor unions, is vital. The qualification aims to cultivate individuals who grasp the fundamental concepts and principles of human resource management. It aims to equip them with the skills and expertise required to effectively train and manage human resources in both public and private institutions.

Rationale:

This qualification encompasses a field of study that empowers learners to oversee the development of human capital within organisations and offer relevant services to individuals and groups. It encompasses teachings in personnel and organisational policies, human resource dynamics and flows, labor relations, gender roles, human rights, laws and regulations pertaining to human resources, motivation and compensation structures, work systems, career development, employee assessment and testing, recruitment and selection processes, as well as the implementation and management of employee training programs.
