Integrated Assessment

  • Assessment across the qualification forms an integral part of the teaching and learning process.
  • Learners are required to comply with the minimum assessments set for the level of the qualification.
  • Assessments vary depending on the module and outcomes, and are both formative and summative.
  • The weighting of assessments towards the final mark is indicated in the learning guide for each module.
  • Formative Assessment includes class tests, Q&A sessions, and practical work monitoring.
  • Summative Assessment leads to the final mark in accordance with the institution's Assessment Policy.
  • The assessments for theoretical modules are in the form of assignments, written tests, or practical examinations.
  • Integrated Assessments/case studies are conducted through assignments, including industry projects or capstone modules.
