Purpose and Rationale:

The purpose of this qualification is to enable qualifying students to pursue a career as internal auditors in industry and commerce. Additionally, it caters to students who aspire to further their studies to eventually pass the Certified Internal Auditor examination and become Certified Internal Auditors (CIAs) and members of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). This qualification aims to provide the necessary knowledge and skills for individuals to excel in the field of internal auditing, ensuring they are well-prepared for professional certification and career advancement.
