The purpose of this project is threefold:
Psychological and Social Wellbeing: Providing insights into the psychological and social wellbeing of individuals affected by Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS). Understanding the impact of these diseases on mental health and social interactions is crucial in developing effective interventions and support systems.
Designing Communication Interventions: Developing discipline-based knowledge and research skills to design, analyze, and evaluate educational materials for HIV and AIDS communication interventions. These interventions are tailored to address the diverse needs of different target audiences, with the aim of raising awareness, increasing knowledge, and promoting positive behavior change.
Literature Review on Social Issues: Understanding the nature, steps, and writing processes involved in conducting a comprehensive literature review. By focusing on the social issues surrounding HIV and AIDS, this project aims to explore the broader impacts of these diseases on individuals, communities, and societies. This research can provide valuable insights for policy-making and advocacy efforts in the field of HIV/AIDS prevention and care.
