The postgraduate qualification in Labour Relations aims to provide students with a solid foundation in Labour Relations theory and its practical applications in the business world. This Bachelor Honours Degree serves as a postgraduate specialization qualification that also equips students for research-oriented postgraduate studies at Level 9. Systematic and integrated knowledge and understanding: Students should demonstrate an ability to analyze, evaluate, and apply fundamental terms, concepts, facts, principles, rules, and theories in a coherent and integrated manner.
Ability to apply appropriate discipline-related methods of scientific inquiry: Students should be able to independently validate, evaluate, and manage sources of information relevant to their discipline.
Critical reflection and problem-solving: Students should demonstrate critical reflection on complex discipline-related problems and be able to apply appropriate methods or practices to resolve them, thereby introducing change within related practice.
Professional and ethical behavior: Students should exhibit professional and ethical behavior within an academic and discipline-related environment, showing sensitivity towards societal and cultural considerations.
Effective communication: Students should be able to effectively communicate scientific understanding and their own opinions/ideas in written or oral arguments, using appropriate discipline-related and academic discourse as well as technology.
Effective team functioning: Students should be able to function effectively as a member and/or leader of a team or group in scientific projects or investigations. They should demonstrate self-directed management of learning activities and take responsibility for their own learning progress.
