Purpose: This postgraduate qualification aims to equip students with a solid foundation in labour relations management theory and its practical application in the business environment. The program is designed as a postgraduate specialization that readies students for further research-based postgraduate studies at Level 9. The goal is to enhance students' knowledge in labour relations management, cultivate their research skills, and increase their proficiency in research methodologies and techniques. The curriculum aligns with current academic research trends in the field and caters to the growing demand for quantitative analysis methods in practice. Graduates will develop the competence and capabilities necessary to effectively fulfill the role of labour relations practitioners, enabling them to analyze, advise, and support employers and employees in labor-related matters.

Successful completion of the program enables students to register with the South African Board for People Practices (SABPP).
