Human and Social Studies - Traditions History and Legacies
Purpose:
The Bachelor of Arts Honours (BAHons) in History aims to equip graduates with advanced knowledge and understanding of history to apply in NGO, state, and research sectors. Graduates will be able to investigate, analyze, and interpret modern historical events within the context of the past, offering realistic solutions to problems. The program also fosters personal growth, economic opportunities in related careers, societal contributions, and provides a pathway for further advanced studies, such as a related Master's Degree.
Rationale:
The BAHons History program is designed to enhance students' research and analytical skills while providing a deeper understanding of the historical origins of contemporary issues.
